The Pacific Northwest coast has so much to offer but one of my favorite spots is Cannon Beach. If you are looking for a relaxing beach town vibe, this is the place to go! There is a beach beach where the Goonies and Twilight was shot as well as a little town with so many cute shops. I highly recommend checking this out for a weekend away!
Saturday
Drive into Cannon Beach and grab a coffee at Insomnia Coffee
After you grab a coffee and maybe a pastry at Cannon Beach Bakery head down to the beach and enjoy the sea breeze.
When you start getting hungry head to one of their many restaurants or breweries, I highly recommend Public Coast for some great beers and tasty fries.
After lunch head out to the main boardwalk and do a little shopping! There is candy, coffee, books, and a lot of fun little shops to look at.
Once you have had your fill of shopping head back to the hotel for some rest and get ready for dinner.
Wayfarer restaurant has a delicious seafood menu, but if seafood is at your thing, check out CB Smokehouse for some great BBQ.
After dinner have a romantic walk on the beach with and ice cream or head back to your room for a relaxing early evening.
Sunday
Grab coffee and breakfast at Crepe Neptune and back to enjoy the beach a little before heading out! If you can stay a little longer I highly recommend lunch at Pelican Brewing Company. It is a staple for anyone that stops in Cannon Beach but be prepared for a wait or get there early! After some great good head out and enjoy the drive back home.
