The Best Ways To Eat Mac N’ Cheese

Who doesn’t love mac n’ cheese? Gooey, cheesy, creamy sauce blanketed over noodles all in one bowl. Being the avid macaroni and cheese lover, I am always looking up ways to change it up and add a new twist to one of my favorite dishes. Elbows took out all the guess work and offer 16 different types of Macaroni and Cheese to try, plus a pizza. Yes, a macaroni and cheese pizza! I haven’t had a chance to try them all yet, but here are a few of my favorite ways to spice up your macaroni and cheese!

My favorite type of macaroni and cheese includes some type of protein. The “holy cow” puts ground beef, bacon, and mushrooms into their pasta for a flavor explosion that makes me jump for joy! For beginners, try adding some bacon and cheddar to your mac and cheese, but if you are looking for something different, go all in and add mushrooms too!

Another great way to add some protein to your macaroni is adding some sea food! Lobster and swiss or gouda cheese makes the perfect pairing! Not into meat? Try adding some mushrooms and asparagus to you pasta mixed with a little white cheddar! Don’t forget to add more cheese on top and broil until it is perfectly golden brown. If I had it my way, I would just add all the cheeses and throw in a little bacon! How do you like your macaroni and cheese?
